CCC Board of Directors: Nominations (2026-2028 Term)

Please fill in the form below if you are interested in nominating someone to serve as a member of the Community Consultants Collective Board of Directors for the term beginning January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2028.


By joining the Board, they'll help shape the future of our profession. The CCC’s Board of Directors performs much of the background work that keeps the CCC operating and growing. The primary role of the Board is to help guide the organization through significant decisions, negotiate and approve contracts on behalf of the organization, and ensure long-term continuity in operations. Providing our members with value and transparency, as well as, acting as an accountable and responsible steward for the organization is the core purpose of every board role.


The CCC does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations.


We encourage you to nominate someone that you think would be a good fit. We will then reach out to them and to continue the process.

Board Member Expectations

As a Board Member, they will be expected to:

  • Attend 3 of the 12 monthly general membership meetings.

  • Attend 9 of the 12 monthly board meetings.

  • Cross-promote member content and CCC content and events.

  • Facilitate at least one general membership or special interest group meeting.

  • Occasionally contribute content to and on behalf of the CCC to the CCC website. and other channels, including outside publications.

Board Member Benefits

In return, they’ll gain the following benefits: 

  • Eligibility to own equity in the organization (see the operating agreement for more details). 

  • Right to vote and/or propose topics for discussion in board meetings or for board consideration.) 

  • A premium profile page on the CCC website.

Board Member Qualifications

In order to qualify for a Board position, they must:

  • Be a part-time or full-time community consultant or practitioner within a community team. 

  • Have at least three years of experience in community management, community operations, or a related field. 

  • Have a collaborative mindset, flexibility, and be open to change. 

  • Be able to work well with diverse groups of people and navigate complex situations with high emotional intelligence.
